Pentalum
Advanced Wind Measurement
Pentalum develops the SpiDAR® - an innovative, cost-effective pulse wind LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) system, for remote sensing of wind. The SpiDAR's unique technology and architecture allows Pentalum to achieve a high level of measurement and portability with significantly reduced costs. The SpiDAR system targets mainly wind farm applications: wind resource assessment, wind turbine control and wind forecasting. Given the small size and reduced costs, the SpiDAR also fits a multitude of other wind sensing and measurement applications.
