Octalica was a semiconductor company that developed a highly-integrated chipset for the emerging Home Digital Entertainment market. Octalica's chipset enabled the easy sharing of multimedia content (high definition video, music, images and gaming) throughout the home.

Octalica was founded in 2001 as a Pre-Seed company with Cedar's assistance, and was acquired by Broadcom Corporation (Nasdaq: BRCM) in May 2007.
